Kelly's Beach Retreat is just that a delight. The house is well equipped as like we were home. Pretty much everthing you need the Kelly's have for you. The administration stuff is nicely done via the US Mail and email. With Mr Kelly being very responsive to inquires and needs. We have been there 3 times with additional enhancements each time. The Kelly's take pride in their home which is a "win" for the vacationers!Plus the weather was great w/o 8/16 even with BILL off the coast!

The new owners are great. There is access to everything: hunting, fishing, golf, etc. Lots of parking for trailers.

The management are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. My wife and I stayed for the weekend and we are definitely coming back. Sam Rayburn Lake is huge!

Excellent service! Terry told us about swimming and fishing access to the lake. Thank you. The manor is spacious, well- appointed, and the choice of colors is tasteful. It is exceptionally comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We all felt very relaxed and at home here. Thank you!

This place was in the news. The club house burned down and there are robberies here. Check out:

The staff at this campground are less than accomodating. They are rude and have poor customer service skills. They certainly do not reflect the family oriented business that they are trying to promote. With so many fabulous campgrounds in this area, you would think that they would want to take an interest in their guests, but this is definately not the case. I will NOT be returning to the campground. Do not recommend

This is quite possibly one of the worst places ever.

My husband and I have been living here for quite some time, and if we could afford to pick up and move we'd have been gone long ago.

The bed in our room has springs poking through the top of the mattress which they have yet to replace (though we've been asking them to for 3 months), the smoke detector doesn't work (it hasn't since January), there are gaps under the door jamb in our bathroom where cockroaches crawl out of (and we can't get them to caulk it up). That's just to name a few of the problems we've experienced here.

Overall, the only thing this place is interested in is taking your money. Heaven forbid you actually expect to receive anything that you're paying for.

I stayed at this motel for about 4 months at their discounted weekly rates and was surprised how low it was. Rooms were about $150 per week which includes Daily Housekeeping Service, Microwave and Fridge, King Bed, Cable T.V. with HBO and laundromat within walking distance. Place was a little hard to find at first but it is hidden behind the Howard Johnson. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone on a budget that needs a place to stay for over a month.

Hotel Infomation

Discount hotel rooms are generally offered in two manors. Either you can call a hotel directly, or attempt to book a hotel room online. Online room booking often nets you a cheaper rate since there is no booking overhead involved. Reservations can usually be cancelled with a full refund if 48 hours notice is given. Deals on hotel rooms can vary by season and can be influenced by a themed room, jacuzzi, or other upgrades.
