Don't be fooled, try somewhere else

Things started off alright, everybody seemed friendly. We then found out that the office staff would be out of town the whole time we were staying. Not a big deal. We get into the room and find out that the toilet was backed up and we didn't have a plunger. Ok, maybe we should have stayed somewhere else. Things only got worse. There was a loud argument in the next room the first night. Jeez. Then when we got home and I looked at my credit card statement, we had been overcharged. Calls to resolve the situation got me nowhere and I had to dispute the charges with Visa. Save yourself the trouble and try somewhere else if you can.

We had our 2008 women's trauma retreat here. IT was wonderful and beautiful. The owner and his super staff went above and beyond to make all of us comfortable. Meals at the Cafe in the Lodge were Excellent. It was the best and we will be going there again! Excellent value! It was worth the drive!!!

Discount hotel rooms are generally offered in two manors. Either you can call a hotel directly, or attempt to book a hotel room online. Online room booking often nets you a cheaper rate since there is no booking overhead involved. Reservations can usually be cancelled with a full refund if 48 hours notice is given. Deals on hotel rooms can vary by season and can be influenced by a themed room, jacuzzi, or other upgrades.
